mid 70's big birds

how come late 60's & 77 to 79 tbirds are being restored? don't 72 to 76 birds count? i have 3 76 birds, im doing 2 with one parts car. also spottewd another 76 yesterday. am going to stop when we get a break in the weather.

hi,

i see a bunch of folks have read your post but no one responded.

I will give my opinion.....

to start with, many of these were crushed instead of being saved. sales dropped off so there were not as many produced as the 77-79 birds due to gas pricing in those years. Parts are harder to find. and i guess finally the age group that they apeal to is not as large as the other years. add this all up and you have somewhat of a narrow market for them.
