I have two problems I need help on. The first is the seat belt warning light on my 66' is constantly on whether I have the belt buckled or not. How can that be fixed?

The other issue is my power seat. It will function fine in all directions except fore and aft so I don't think it is a motor problem. Could it be the switch?

Some 66 Birds have the switch in the seat belt retractor drivers side. when you pull out the belt far enough it switches the light off. See if theres a wire going to the retractor. Some have a bimetal switch near the ignition switch after the light stays on about 10 seconds it opens to shut the light off.
