My 66' rear tailight trim peices are in need of some restoration. Peices are not bent or damaged, just the aluminum look is very faded and worn. Can someone tell me what is the best method of restore. I have an Eastwood store close to me, they list a light metallic textured coat spray (Sema-Armo) I was thinking of trying. The trim peices closest to tail lense also have what looks like a black paint within trim peice. Is this supposed to be Satin, Gloss, or flat? Any help appreciated.

The bright portion of the trim is clear anodized aluminum, smooth but not highly polished. The next band inward is sprayed flat aluminum with what appears to be a soft demarcation line (probably unintentional but a result of using a stencil to mask the area). The black strip is semi-gloss or satin black with matching attachment screws. This is what the factory did. You could finish the pieces to a higher degree but that would not be authentic. Hope that helps.

Thanks Kandiapple for reply. I worked on cleaning polishing the aluminum peices with Never-Dull. Peices come up really nice, however after a day or so they end up tanishing once again with a whitish haze. I may consider spraying the inner flat aluminum.
