I was wondering if anyone could help me find a vacuum diagram for a 79 t-bird. My heater control valve doesnt have a vacuum line running to it and I cant find the proper one. Thanks!!

I have the vacuum diagram for a '77 ford but I think they are probably the same. Look for a hose with a green stripe from the function control valve (the part with about 7 or 8 hoses on it) on the back of the a/c control switch. That is the one that goes to the heater control valve. If you include your e-mail address in your post I will send the diagram to you. Do you have manual or auto temp control on your car ?

Thanks for the reply! I have manual a/c temp. I found the vacuum line you told me about under the dash. For some reason it doesnt have constant vacuum while the a/c is on to keep the valve closed. When I turn the heat on then the vacuum starts and the valve closes.
