Has anyone ever replaced their interior door panels while leaving the rest of their interior in tact?
I have the blue interior with some cracking on the arm rest - I see that one piece vinyl covered molded door panel are available in white, black or gray but then they would need to be painted or dyed(?)to match the interior -

Thanks

I have a 1962 with the same problem. I saw the panels you speak of on ebay but they will dye them to match from a swatch you provide. Although I haven't had the balls to do it, I would also like to hear from anyone who may have done this. If they have pics that would even be better.

Ive done both ways, complete replacement panel and also the ebay type that goes just to the mldg. I bought the dye and did it myself so I dont know what the companys color matching quality is. Personal opinion, if its not a $ issue buy the full replacement panels. The cap is just that, with the door open you can see the seam, although that is a big improvement over a 45 year old sun baked panel. The cars are both 1965 Special Landaus so the interiors were exactly the same and with the doors shut they looked like twins. As for pics you are about a month to late as the guy that had them here sold both of them.

I ordered a set of full replacement panels for my 66 from Larry's and had them tinted to match the ivy gold interior. Its a little more than buying the ebay type, but they really came out nice.
