'58 Bypass Hose?

Does anyone know who sells the bypass hose that connects the intake manifold to the waterpump? Checking the major suppliers, I didn't see one offered. Did I overlook it? I have a '58 Bird with the 352 engine. The tube coming out of the intake manifold measures 7/8" o.d. & the tube on the waterpump measures 5/8" o.d. Hose length would need to be about 2 3/4" long. I couldn't find one the last time I needed one & jury-rigged a tube which lasted about 2 years. Thanks for any leads.

Larry's Thunderbird shows a bypass. However, it lists as steel and is 5/8". Maybe yours was modified along the way? Probably worth a call.
Good Luck

Thanks for your reply Vince. Larry's was one of the vendors that I checked. It's very possible that our T-bird has been modified at some point in time. When we bought it, a 1960's Holley 4V was mounted on the intake. It has now been replaced by an Edelbrock when I couldn't stop a persistant gasoline leak. This afternoon I located a heater hose that enabled me to make the connection between the intake & the water pump. I installed a short length of 5/8" hose over the water pump tube. Then I forced a length of 3/4" hose over it to make the connection to the intake manifold. The connector hose that was on the car when we purchased it appeared to be made for this specific application rather than somebody's design.
