hi guys im new to the site here and new to owning a yank.I'm 19 and recently gone and bought myself a 68'bird 2door fitted with the 429 thunderjet 7.5litre v8, full black leather interior, bucket seats (inside is absolutely imaculate). when i bought it there were no exhaust manifolds fitted so after 3 months of hard searching,i found some at the 't-bird sanctuary' and got them shipped over (yes i'm in the uk). the only problem is that i can't seem to fit them and i wouldnt like to have to take the block out to fit them. Now, i have had a look underneath the car and the twin exhausts arn't supported much and look to me as a design fault so could break the manifolds again so is there a way of fitting them with the reasurance of them not breaking. also another thing that confuses me is how the lights work, i have figured out how to turn them on and off but i only can tell which ones are on by getting out the car each time and having a look because you can turn the knob clockwise and anticlockwise and pull it out etc. i think i need a owners manule for this beast, hehehe i bet you are all thinking 'amatures' i will get some pictures of her posted a.s.a.p because she is very clean but needs a little bit of work on things like getting the flip lights to work etc. i dont know if it is the landau model as i dont know what the landau was. if any of you can help me i would really apreciate it a lot. cheerz
