what are the correct seat belts for a 63 tbird. are they the chrome buckle type or plastic buckle? do they attach with an eye bolt or a bracket? are there cutouts under the rear seat to put in rear seat belts? vermbird

63 front seat belts attach to the transmission hump sides using what looks like an eye bolt that threads into the hump. The seat belt then clipped to the eyebolt. Pull your carpet out of the way or look from under the car and you should find plugs in these reinforced threaded holes. I don't remember how the sides by the doors seat belt half attached. The front bucket seats had plastic retainer loops mounted at the back of the seat base that the seat belts run through. Best I can remember the buckles were chromed steel not plastic. I think my 63 convertable only had front belts.
