I'm interested in installing subframe connectors on my 1980 T-bird. Does anyone know of a source to get the weld in bars? I did find a set for around $200- ouch! Your best bet might be to go to a local welder/fabricator and have then make you a set of weld in ones. There isin't much to them and you can buy a lot of 2x3" rectangular tubing for $200.00. I am not surprised at the lack of availability, you might want to check a Fairmont set and see if you can get any dimensions and compare them to your chassis. Good Luck!!

Hey if going to put in sub frame connectors you can buy a set for a mustang ( 79 - 92) i know they fit cause i put a set on mine and i had the just setting around they fit with no problems all most anything from a mustang will fit the t birds except the rear ends they ( mustangs ) are 2' (inches) smaller every thing else fits .... i swap out my 4 banger turbo for a 407 small block and headers off my mustang fit and my trany fit and my motor mounts fit just abit of info for ya i have 5 1985 turbo birds hope this helps u out and i think the sub frame connectors are like a 100 bucks from jeggs speed shop here is the 800 number 1800 345 4545
