I am restoring a '66 T-bird convertible. The area around the trunk seal is very rusty. I am talking of the area around the perimeter of the trunk which holds the seal. I have new metal from a donor car and it is fitting but have to make a few minor adjustments. The area underneath the package tray is all but gone. I am talking about if you follow the groove that the seal sits in up toward the front of the car, then it makes a turn toward the center of the car behind the back seat. It goes maybe five or six inches and then does a 90 degree turn toward the front of the car. It is this area that I need some pictures. I think a top would have to be either raised or lowered enough for the package tray to move out of the way to take the picture. I really have no idea of what the area looks like because this is my first Tbird. I don't know what else to do but to ask if anyone has a car that they may be able to take some pictures of this area. If you can do it please email me at my personal email address and I can send you a small jpg picture of the area and you will see exactly what I mean. This has been exhausting trying to find this information. It just isn't out there unless someone has a similar car. The car would have to be either a 1965 conv. manufactured after March of that year, or a 1966 convertible. In March of 1965 Ford made a change in this area and used slightly different seals

Thanks
