As I was prepping my seats for recovering, the burlap that covers the springs fell apart. Any ideas on where to find a replacement kit or if no kit is out there then the best way to cover the springs prior to putting the foam back on.
Also does anyone know if relplacement foam kits are produced for the 64-66 rear seats (found th estuff for the fronts). Any suggestions, ideas and/or techniques on how to reupholster the seats would be appreciated (I did get a front and rear seat covering kit...just need to install it). Thanks a lot. |

National parts depot sells a burlap kit for Mustangs and since you cut it to fit I see no reason you cant use it anywhere you want. As far as the recovering part just take your time. I always do them outside so the sun makes the covers a bit more plyable. Just watch out on the back side of the front seats as there are some pretty nasty hooks that seem to attract your finger tips.
