Hi Johnny,

I have just installed 65 tbird brakes in my 62 with new dual master, not off 67' but should be equivalent. I did not have any troubles bleeding brakes, I used eZbleeders and they worked fine for me.

Definitely keep the proportioning valve.

Did you first bleed the master cylinder?

i did a half-assed master cyl bleed - i cracked the fittings at the cylinder and got the air out - well, i think....that's what i am doing before using the suction system at the individual wheel cylinders...i think i have too much air in the sys because of poor master bleeding...i will let you know what i find tomorrow...thanks for the replys

sorry for late response. Bob I did first bleed the M/C while it was out of the car..and after it was installed. Yes, I let the fluid go too low and no way was I taking it off again.

I had one of those bleeder kits with tubes feeding back to the M/C and that worked well. My friend is very inventive, he go a heap of tube for fish tanks and fed it back to the M/C from the brake bleeder - no bubbles meant he was done with that wheel!
