Most things I can figure out but since I hate trannys I need some direction. Have a 65 Bird and it seems to be building pressure in the trans for it forces the dipstick up out of the tube(about 5 or 6 inches) and today it pushed some fluid as well. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

The best place for that info is THE FORD TRANSMISSION FORUM you can google it. I had that issue on a 64 galaxie when i was a kid. Going up a hill the fluid came out of the dipstick and and landed on the manifold, Car went on fire so be careful
