I'm getting ready to install a period correct right hand door mirror on my '69 Fordor. I'm at the point to where it lines up with the driver door mirror, and getting ready to drill holes. I can't get it to adjust to where I can see paart of my car in it when looking out it. I understand that these old mirrors aren't like todays mirrors with the curved glass giving a wider view angle. Is this normal or am I missing something.
