Sidekick, sounds like you and I may have about the same problem. My '84 elan 'bird will run great part of the time and sh***y part of the time. Like you I'm replaced the throttle body, rebuilt the injectors, replaced most all the sensors and still no luck. Last night I read in one of the many books I have on EFI that after replacing a part a guy should remove the negative battery lead. This wipes out the KAM (keep alive memory). That way the computer has to relearn the equipment and any changes you/I have done to it. That's on for this morning.
Another thing I read last night that may apply to you is that the TFI module (Thick Film Ignition) controls the fuel to the throttle body after the initial prime. If you get the first few second of fuel but nothing during crank then maybe that maybe your problem. It also noted a special tool needed to replace that TFI. Good luck to both of use.
