Did the later 90-92 Tbirds have 8.8" rear end Units??

Would a unit from 90-92 fit into a 1980 TBird.
I want to upgrade from the 7.5" 4 link rear to a 8.8" 4 link.
I have been looking for a 84-88 TBird TC rear end. But not much luck so far.
