Hello I was wondering if anyone here could help me. I have a 1987 thunderbird with the 302 5.0L and when ever I push on the gas peddel the car will stall and the low oil pressure warrning will ping, the car usuly starts back up again but if I try and move it the car will stall again. What started this was the fule line comeing out of the tank was leaking, my father got a tank/pump from a junk yard couger and put that on the tbird. We had the car on ramps for about 3 weeks total with the front of the car pointed down at the ground. After the couger tank was put on the car started right up but the fule pump was overly loud then the car stalled when I gave it gas as I stated above. Do you here the fuel pump in the tank run when you turn the key on? Could be that the pump in the junk yard tank.
