I have a '61 T-Bird I want to convert to an alternator, so I got the conversion module from Crites. Anyone installed these? I understand wiring the module right to the back of the alternator, but I am confused by the "before module" and "after module" wiring diagrams they send. Are these just telling me to take 2 of the wires off the old voltage regulator and connect them? Can someone describe how to wire up this module once you have all the wires coming off the module in place?
BTW, before anyone lambastes me for posting this before I called Crites for help directly, this is free and that's a long-distance phone call. If I can get someone to explain it in plain english without having to make a call I will. Thank you very much!

...after several long-distance cellphone calls I got it done. Believe me, the diagrams they sent me would not have helped at all. Easily the worst instructions I have ever seen with an aftermarket upgrade.
Anyway, I did get it up and charging so if anyone else takes this route feel free to drop me a line and I will tell you how it's really done.
