Can anyone tell me how the landau bars come off on a 71 tbird? I am doing the bodywork, and do not want to break these. I am at the point where the vinyl roof needs to come off.

got this answer for you from the glamorbird list.

pull the interior quarter trim and you should see the pushpin retainers on
the inside of the quarterpanel sheetmetal. Unbolt the retaining nuts and
carefully pry them off from the outside.
