Anyone replace their leafsprings? If so do you have a source of replacement parts? I know that these parts are manufactured for the classic mustangs but not sure about the TBirds. Thanks!

Hi;
I had the springs on my 66 T-bird re-arched at a spring shop and they even put a "helper leaf" on each set to give it more support. Larry's T-bird and Bob's Bird House sell new ones.

JMO, I would have the original springs re-arched by a local shop. As noted, you can have extra leaves inserted as desired and get the exact ride height you want. I would not buy new springs unless the originals are cracked or broken.

I chose to put a new set in my 66 conv., The hight came out good. Sorry i can't remember where i got them, Some where in nevada. The down side about getting springs arched is if there pitted inbetween the leafs there going to crack down the road at some point.

I put new springs on my 65 hardtop. Quite a job, but the old ones were rusted. The rust was forcing the leaves apart, so they were not rebuildable. I got springs for about $170 each and they fit perfectly. If you want the source, e-mail me at awass65@comcast.net
