i am looking for the positioning spec for the script on my 65 convertible. any help would be appreciated. thanks

There are pins molded into the back of the scritpt pieces. These fit into holes in the fender and are held by little bushings.

if it was only that easy. i have replaced both rear quarters and unfortunately the aftermarket quarters dont come pre drilled. thanks for the response though. ddp

Mine start 1 1/2" from the rear of the fender to the first letter and 3/4 up from the body line to the bottom of the script. You should be able to make a carboard template maybe put lipstick on the back of the pins and press onto the cardboard and take it from there

Bob P's dimensions seem right. I measured mine last night and they are the same. Good luck.
