Hello everyone, I should tell you guys exactly what I am dealing with. I bought my Tbird in March 1965 in Alexandria Virginia when I was working at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. It was brand spanking new when I bought it. I have stored it over the winter months since that time and have not driven it much at all. It has 113,000 original miles in 40 years. the engine has never been taken apart. It has a new water pump, radiator, carburetor, fuel pump, but the brake rotors and calipers are still original. Now I am having a few electrical problems. My fuel gauge and oil gauge are not working and the low fuel warning light does not come on. My emergency flashers are not working but that could be just flasher I suppose. The oil gauge has not been working since 1967 but just recently the fuel gauge quit working which means the sending unit could be bad. In the electrical shop manual it shows a turn signal flasher for the frontturn signal indicator lights. where is this located? I think I new years ago but now I cant quite remember? Its supposed to be on the drivers side under the dash . My turn signal indicators do not actually flash and I dont hear the familiar click associated with the flasher. The car has always been tuned up by myself and it is in very excellent working condition. If anyone can help with the emergency flasher problem or fuel and oil gauge problem it would be greatly appreciated. I have checked for voltage and it seems that the constant voltage regulator under the dash is putting out a pulsating voltage okay. Thank you.

I had flasher problems too. The first time it was the element which is cheap and very accessible under the driver side dash. 2nd time that didn't do it, then I found out that the flashers have their OWN fuse (Check the diagram) it's a small fuse-I touched both prongs with a screw driver and it started working. I'll start with the fuse.
