anyone have any sources for getting a new rear axle for a 66 tbird. I have a problem with rear axle seals leaking. I have to replace them about every 12 months. Also, does anyone know or heard or bearing savers, or axle savers that apparently move the seal slightly so it rests on a fresh part of the axle. Any info would be appreciated.

We used to use wear rings we pressed onto the axle shafts, But that was for big trucks. Never seen them for cars but i never looked. Might try a truck parts place to see if they no of car applications. I do have axles for $50.00 each but there in NJ. Shipping maybe to much. Should be a lot around close to you. Good Luck.
