I recently purchased a 1959 T-Bird and would like to know whether to put a Pertronix ignition and super coil with Platinum plugs and a Edelbrock high rise.........would this be helpful or am I just wasting my time and money.....Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and ANY help you could suggest..Sincerely

Don't know what you expect to accomplish. If you don't have some specific goals in mind, how will you know if you achieved them? A 352 is a fine engine but with only a 3.5" stroke it is not inherently torquey. If your engine is in sound mechanical condition and tuned properly, the items you mention won't change things much. If you want to see some substantial increase in power, save your money and invest in an upgrade to a 390 or 428 (either complete or short block). These are readily available and are a simple bolt in swap. JMO

Thank you for your help Kandiapple66, I am just looking to cruise around with this and get the best gas mileage, but I am learning as I go. I am also looking to lower this car a little as it sits up too high in the rear. I have stock 14 inch rims so I went with slightly smaller tires. Thanks for taking your time to answer me and I wish you all the best
