Does anyone have any experience restoring a shift hub for a 61-63 T-bird?
On my -61 T-bird the 2 holes in the shift hub holding the gear shift lever is seriously worn so it is difficult to move the gear selection to a specific position.
The shift hub is a pressure die cast zinc piece. As far as I know you cant weld in zinc and solder in it seems dangerous, you probably risk to melt the hole shift hub with the burner.
