The alternator belt on my '65 squeals badly when I rev it up and the regulator is calling for power. I've tried 2 regulators, 2 belts, and the alternator is new. The voltages seem to be within limits and all the electrical systems seem to be working fine. I'm stumped. Also, does anyone know if a wire needs to be connected to the terminal marked sta on the alt. and if so, which wire.
