I am putting my 66tbird back together (with a.c.) It's been a while. Where does the 3/4" hose go from the heater core?

I have a 66 with A/C and the hoses go like this --
The top 3/4 to the Y pipe.
The bottom to the water valve outlet.
It is interesting to note that the Y pipe
reduces to 5/8 on the return to the water pump.
Hope this helps.

I guess I better ask where the other hoses go on my 66 because that makes an uneven number of hoses to pipe ends. I also have a 64 with 2 y pipes but there's 2 pipes coming off the top of the engine by the water pump instead of one. I have a shop manual but it does not show anything on this.

On my 66 there is a T fitting on top of the intake manifold.
One hose goes by the carb for choke heat and connects to
the Y pipe. 5/8 and returns to the water pump inlet connection.
The other one goes to the water valve inlet (top)
The top heaterhose 3/4 goes to the Y pipe.
The bottom heater hose goes to the water valve bottom 3/4
outlet connection. As I said before, you should have two 5/8
connections and one 3/4 on the Y pipe.
Hope we solved this,
Joe
