T Bird Sanctuary has them, part# 11654 They are a tad pricey but who knows how good a used one is.

If you are trying to save money check a parts store maybe one more time. I don't know how similar the '68 is to say the '64-66. On one other site folks found they could get the switch from, I believe, a Galaxie or other Ford car from NAPA. The problem is the the rod connected to the knob is the wrong length. Two options put the T Bird rod in the switch or cut off the excess length.

Again not sure this works for a '68 but you might take your switch to the store and compare.
