anyone know where i can gert custom body parts for a 69 bird, i might play around with the front grill and chrome side skirts but cant find any parts anywhere. has one of these been customised before - any sites, ideas and pics would be great help. - what would look good?

I think your really on your own here. The 67-71 Birds really aren't popular enough to have many aftermarket parts for them. If you go to http://www.degeneratepress.com/thunderbird/ I think he has a picture of a bamboo headliner he put in. Also there is a link for a totally tricked out 68 hard top. you have to search around for it. He has a lot of links in his site.
