Posting this for my Father in Law. Unfortunately, he no longer has the time to give this car its fair due and I have too many projects as well.

For sale, 1966 Thunderbird 2 door hardtop

Data Plate: 63A M 53 23M 75 1 4

Decodes as a 1966 Thunderbird two door hardtop, wimbledon white, burgundy vinyl. 345 hp/428 V8.
3 spd automatic. No info on the DSO, but the car has been in Colorado since purchase.

The car is very solid, but has not been on the road regularly since 1989, and even then it was registered as a classic. It needs some TLC and would make a great restoration project.

The good:
1. The car has a little over 75,000 original miles. My father in law had the original black and white title, and the state kept that when he re-registered it.

2. The 428 runs strong and the car will get up and move. Recently went through the heads and valve train and everything is in great shape. Very nice to cruise in, but you can light up the tires as well.

3. All chrome is present and in good condition, although some is not mounted on the car.

4. Lights and gauges work, except for the fuel gauge beacuse the float was stuck from sitting. New fuel pump and lines.

5. The seats (front and rear) are in good shape, with no splits or cuts or apparent fading.

6. Floors and rockers and sheet metal in good condition with some minor exceptions explained below.

The not so good:

1. Needs much TLC. The car is too nice to part out, and ideally needs restored.

2. Needs paint. The original paint is very worn.

3. Minor rust in the very bottom passenger side rear 1/4. There is a minor crease in the passenger side rocker. Edge of the hood has some dents, and the rear bumper has been slightly bent, but is repairable. Pics available of all the areas described.

4. Drivers power windows don't work, I think the switch is bad, just haven't had time to play around with it, the passenger side work fine.

5. Windshield is cracked.
6. Door panels need replaced, as the arm rests are cracked.
7. Carpet is faded in several spots.
8. Minor tears in the headliner. Again, pics available.

That about covers it.
Book values go anywhere between $5800 and $6800, so we're asking $5000 or best offer because of conditions described.
