How much for a driver side tail light lens and the plastic piece that fills the space at the end of the 1/4 panel and tail light?

Thanks
John

Thanks for your interest in the '79 parts.
I always check www.classiquecars.com for their prices of 77-79 T-Bird parts. They want $175.00 for one tailight lense. Can you believe it?

I have a driver-side lense for a '79 Bird in excellent condition (no chips). You can have it for $25.00 plus postage and insurance (I always use insurance in case the post office breaks the part in delivery).

As to the other part you mentioned, I'll have to dig in my supply and look for it first. Let me know what you want to do about the lense, nonetheless.

Thanks for your interest.

Hey Tim,
After I pulled the light apart I found the lens is ok, it's the housing that's cracked. I think I can fix that part, but still need the plastic fill piece on the end of the 1/4 panel.

Thanks,
John

John:

Glad to know your tailight lens is OK. I threw away, alas, a number of housings for the rear lights. Otherwise, I could make one available to you.

I don't have the quarter extension for the T-Bird, unfortunately. I have them for the 77-79 Cougar, but not for the T-Bird. So sorry. Wish I could help you.

Do you need anything else?
Let me know. Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

I was wondering if you had a 79 T-Bird dashboard available. The one I have is completely torn. I have a 79 Heritage Edition in burgundy. Let me know if you can help with this.

Thx,
Bill

Brett:

I sold one grille/surround and--due to lack of storage space--threw out the other one. Very sorry. But I can be on the lookout for another one. Keep your eye on this website.
Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim,

I was wondering if you've heard anything about a burgundy dashboard. I was also wondering if you happen to have the center caps for the turbine wheels? Since you parted out a car, do you happen to have a good ornament in good condition? THX

Hello Again,

Tim, do you happen to have a set of the polyeurethane wheels left (4)? I was even thinking about getting rid of the turbines since it is so hard to get the center caps at a reasonable price. I really like the "rubber mag wheels" THX

Hi, I just picked up a 79 bird today,

I'll need many parts. I'm also looking for a good Red/burgandy dash pad, Door arm rests, door panels, trunk interior, rocker panel moulding, side mouldings, T-top/door weather stripes etc...

This is hard to believe, but I threw away a set of polycast mag wheels (I kept the center caps)because I didn't think anyone was interested in them and I didn't have the room for them anyways(I keep parts from both 77-79 T-Birds and 1971-72 Mach 1's, so space is at a premium). But I'm always parting out a car, so I should have something before long.
I'll keep you posted.
Tim,
Florida

Would you have a set of chrome clips for the two roof chrome strips for the Base model 1979. Also looking for the center steering wheel cover for the cruise control in red/burgandy with wood grain.
You can see my '79 @ Http://www.geocities.com/Barnowl12/
I know it's been a while since you posted this.
