$700.00 for a Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Edition T-Bird, with 121,000 original miles, in good shape but needs transmission work. Right now she only goes backwards. I'm the second owner, and my 70 yr old aunt bought the car for herself in '77 (she still has the original sales sticker too!). I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the old girl (the car, not my aunt) because I had just put new tires and a master cylinder on her before the transmission decided to go out. So she's been sitting up in my garage for about a year now because I just haven't had the money to get her fixed up again. She is an ice-blue or Diamond blue T-bird with dark blue cloth interior and a leather top. She's got a little damage on the right front headlight casing and the paint is a little bare across the trunk deck. She may have other flaws here and there too, but she's still in pretty good shape. Of course, being the kind of gal she was, she used to drink quite alot and run around town but she hardly ever smoked (again, the car, although the same might be said about my aunt). I'm hoping someone out there would be interested in picking her up and giving her a good home so that I can have my garage back.
