Hey Terence - here's an intake for a good price, shipping shouldn't be too bad to CA, probably $40.00 or $50.00, they are heavy.

You should be able to find a decent rebuildable carb on ebay for around $50.00 or so. Good luck and keep us posted

Are you familiar with fordmotorsn'engines in Wash State. Their prices on 390's seem very reasonable.

4-5-6 birdman, truly appreciate all of your input and that includes everyone who has helped me in my quest to return this beauty back to specs. Ive gotten very lucky over the weekend, ran across a gentleman with a 63 bird parts car with intake and carb, will sale me the entire car or will just let me pick my poison so to speak. This engine is a 390 with the 4bbl carb, whoopie! You all are great and i truly mean that!
