hello i have a 1981 ford thunderbird heritage model ,,, and my front hood emblem has broke off and isnt repairable,, anyone that has or is willing to sell, or if know where i can find a *cut like glass* hood ornament for the 81 thunderbird would be greatly appreciated,,i would need the whole assembly ,, ford says this part has been discontinued since 1994,, just my luck ,,,

also looking to purchase a set of the 1981 trx alloy wheels that went wiht the model,, i have just the original wire wheels. i woudl liek to get the aluminum die cast alloy wheels for that year as well,, would be intrested in purchasing vg- new condition rims. I have searched everywhere,, and just about giving up,,, not that i hate the wire wheels,, the rims woudl bring out the car a little better as mine is solid black with the black roof. Saw your post regarding needing a hood ornament for your T-Bird. I have one with a "red" insert. The top part is slightly bent down, but not broken. I hesitate to try and straighten it out. Let me know if you are interested in the emblem. I can send a pic of the emblem as well
