Any information on how to sell a 1973 T-bird, my father (82) recently passed away and my mother also 82 wishes to sell the "bird" I have no idea where, how or how much this bird is worth. It has been under cover for the past 10 years altho' he does have my brother drive it weekly. Any information as to where I can go to get it a "good home" it was his "baby"
Thank you, Patty Truelove |

Patty,
Sorry for the loss of your father. There are a lot directions go from here. You could check some back issues of Hemmings. For the last year or so, they have a section in the front reporting on auctions. I don't recall how much activity there was on this era T-bird but this could give you a ball park on price. Particularly helpful is the by line describes the condition of the car. Another approach would be to talk to one of the local companies involved in T-Bird restoration. If you go to the Thunderbird Ranch home page John has 'Part Suppliers' listed. They might sell these cars or know a lot more about the local market. For example, there is Larry's Thunderbird and Mustang Parts in Fullerton. He could probably give you a lot useful information. Good Luck. Vince |

Larry's has now moved to Corona California off the southbound 15 south of the 91 and is tough to find. Phone numbers are the same.

Patty,
I to am sorry for the loss of your father. To get an idea on what his T-bird is worth go to nada.com and click on What is my Classic Worth. This should be the link. http://www.nadaguides.com/SectionHome/ClassicCars.asp?UserID=54074006BCA02&DID=38001&ColorId=&wSec=2&wPg=1184 It should give you a rough idea. Mike B '69 Fordor '90 2 door |
