Hey All well I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Billy, and I currently serving on my 4th deployment. This one happens to be Afghanistan. Anyhow to the point I just bought my dream car and have been looking for information on it. It is a 1964 Thunderbird with 52000 original miles. My plans are to make it look like it came off of the lot just today. Besides a couple of things to make it drive better. Like the disk brake upgrade listed on this site. Anyhow I don't know if I can display pictures but I am going to try. Hope it works.

Welcome Billy, it's completely awesome you got your dream car! The disc brake conversion pops up on ebay every once in a while, about 8 or 900 I think it is. If you do it post lots of pics, us others with 64's that need to do it still want to know how. For a restoration project you look like you are well on your way to getting something good there, is that the original paint?

Hey SKfury It got repainted sometime in the 70's according to the story. My wife and my Dad actually went and picked it up yesterday, so I am patiently waiting on someone to send me more pics of it! I will definantly post some pics when I do the conversion.

How cool is that! Nice car and it will only get better I know! Welcome! My Thunderbird is a 1979 Heritage Thunderbird. You can see it on this site. We're having fun with it! Thank you for your service from this retired Army MSG. Carolyn C.
