Also forgot to mention, you may also want to get Alan Tast's and/or William Wonders book on T-Birds. John Draxler from the Thunderbird Ranch or many bookstores can sell you these.

There are 4 models of the 66 Thunderbird: The base hardtop, with rear quarter windows; the town hardtop, no rear quarter windows; the town landau, no rear quarters and special trim; and, of course, the convertible.
The serial number would identify which model it is.
