Good day to all
This is my first visit to the site, and I am sure it will not be my last. I just bought a 1966 Town Landau.
Lots of electrical issues, so I am looking for someone in the Toronto, area that might be able to steer me to a good repair source. Also looking for exhaust manifolds and power window switch, any info would be greatly appreciated.

You may have this already underway but with this new car you should buy the Shop Manual. There are also two important addendums; the Electrical Systems manual (also covers vacuum) and the Body Systems manual. Both have drawings and diagrams that cover a lot of the detail missing in the shop manual.

Also, I found a set of diagrams from Classic Car Wiring to be very helpful. Also have a '66 and everything seems correct on the drawings. These drawings come on laminated sheets and are color coded to the wiring in the car. Got a losses wire that's black with a purple stripe, these will tell you what it was supposed to power, a great help.

John Draxler at Thunderbird Ranch and other vendors can get you the first three manuals. Classic Car Wiring sells direct.

These will be helpful whether you are doing the work or you have someone else doing it.

Thank you very much for your response, I have now ordered a couple of manuals on CD. Now begins the search for a few parts, trying Canada first but not having much luck. Next Will be the Ranch & Larry's
Thanx again for responding

Not in Canada, but if you need some things and you ever venture into NY I am about 70 miles south of Buffalo and have 3 parts cars and a garage full of extra pieces.

If you still need an Electrical Repair shop, you can try DanMax on Anson Drive, Malton. They are on the north side of Pearson Airport. They Re & Re a digital speedometer in my 1980 T-Bird. I found parts at Collectors Auto Parts in B.C.
