Can anyone give me a sure fire way to determine if an early 62 with a 2y85z code is an original sport roadster and not a clone beyond the usual hang on roadster equipment.

When I was a kid we had a early production 62 convert. There was nothing on the car to say if it was a Sports Roadster or not as they had yet to make any vin mod. The guy that bought it added the parts you speak of and no one ever could tell, except my father and myself knew, and now you as well. I would imagine a build slip might help but that could very easily be missing
