For those of you who have a 1980-84 thunderbirds with the small 7.5" rearend unit's and want to upgrade to a 8.8 rear end. Them Mark VII 8.8 rear ends will boilt in to a early TBIRDs.

I installed a 8.8 unit from a Mark VII, I even used my origanl axils from the 7.5, in the 8.8, But you will have to get adjustable upper control arms. I had both adjustable lower and upper control arms.
