Just introducing myself here, i just recently aquired a 61 tbird ht from my sister that she got from our grandparents for free cuz it sat outside for 10 years so it needs much work, it ran, but we havent drivien it, yet. ill be askin lots of questions, hopefully u guys can help out , thanx

Jason ...If you are going to work on 61 t-bird i would suggest the following books from John Draxler E-mail...Jdrax@tds.net #1 Shop manual #2 Electrical wiring booklet #3 Restoration Guide. These 3 books helped me a lot DAN

I've had my '61 just over a year. It's rapidly turned into an obsession. I've gone the hot-rod route with this one. C6 wide ratio conversion, fresh muscular 390, 3.50 limitedslip and oh yes... Headers finally available for the bulletbirds from Ford Powertrain Applications. Remember, stopping is more important than going, get the brake system inspected, and if possible update a bit. I've got a front disc, dual reservoir conversion very high on the "to do" list.
