Here's a few pics, of work being done, on a 65 flair-bird. I'm chopping the top, and suicide/shaved doors.
I'm thinking about an overdrive trans, so I might get better gas milage.
My respect to thunderbird, and thse that follow. This is my mid-life crises toy, and I just want to stand out, in the croud.
Enjoymy pics, and your bird.Peace

Nice work. Keep us informed of your progress with more pics. I would love to see it when it's all done.

Nice work - what are you going to do about a back window and windscreen?
I know you can get the screen cut down but with the rear window you can't - are you going to recess it into the trunk?

The long stance will be even better with your ultra low profile. Keep up the good work. I aquired a 66 Coupe for my 40th bday and am looking for a few customization ideas.

Just wondering if you are going do anything with the engine. I have looking into fuel injection as well with an overdrive tranny. Are staying with the 390? You find can lots of 351s out there with od trannys and they are ready fuel injected.
